Game days at Alcorn has tremendous energy. It's electric, the fans, the Alcornites, the administration, they come out and support it come out and show their love for the student-athletes and show what it means to you know, put on Alcorn jersey. It's a lot of energy, a lot of excitement. It's a lot of fun.
You come here on game day, you wouldn't want to leave. You have everybody tailgating. You got the fantastic fans, and then sit in the stands and it just unbelievable! Game day you have to be here to see that.
Our athletic program produces a great players player such as Steve McNair, Donald Driver and many many more. I was very proud that Alcorn produces big figures like that on a national level. So when I played, when I got on the football team. I said, "Yeah, I want to be just like those players going to the NFL."
You can't help but say how proud I am because I have a brother to go to the NFL from here. He was MVP, Co-MVP of the NFL and did outstanding job when he was here at Alcorn. And you just to name a few, Torrence Small, said to him just to name a few later guys that have been [inaudible] and been successful in the league. As a coach, you're so proud and you're so humble. When you hear talking about the young men and women and going to the next level and competing at the highest level. You know you get excited when you hear that.
if you're someone who likes you know family-oriented environment, traditional winning -- Alcorn is definitely the place for you to pursue your career and pursue your future and to continue with your collegiate athletics and education.
