One of the hallmarks of the Alcorn experience is the relationship that not only our faculty enjoy with external funding agencies and corporations, but also those same relationships which allow our students internships, pre-professional experiences, as well as employment, whether we're talking about Entergy, Cargill, Shell. It's those relationships that we seek to continue to cultivate to create strong employment outcomes for our students.
I ended up changing my major from chemistry to music, and it worked for me. And I was a music teacher and then I became a theater professor for many years and it's just been a beautiful journey. A beautiful experience. Alcorn did that for me. It was random. It was unexpected. But that's what you get as a student at Alcorn.
Alcorn graduates are well-represented both nationally, statewide, locally, and in this region. So those relationships are strong. And those employment outcomes show.
